For the past couple of years, Matt Walsh’s Clouded Vision Recordings has been my go-to label if I’m on the prowl for solid, no-nonsense tracks. Matt has a knack for finding and putting out incredibly powerful productions on his label, and the latest instalment from Parisian producer, Demian, stays true to form.
‘With Love and Voodoo’ has been doing the rounds for quite a while, with the likes of Daniel Avery and of course Matt Walsh himself, championing the track in live sets and various podcasts.
The title track is the one for me – it’s serious, after-hours business! A fairly subtle 303 riff and throbbing bass line from the word go, building up to a vicious chorus of stabbing keys that leave you wanting more.
The second track on the EP, Spiraculum, gets the thumbs up from us and on remix duties, we have Remain, Pink Skull and Gameboyz, all well worth a listen.
